Lavyne McGinnis is the owner and operator of The Barberette. She kick-started her career in salons but quickly found her groove with barbering and acquired licenses in both Barbering and Cosmetology. While she hails from Nebraska, Lavyne relocated to Kansas City more than 13 years ago and has been proud to grow her business and family in the KC metro. She insists her favorite thing about the industry is meeting new people and seeing them become part of the Barberette family.
