Pia Friend Realty began it's roots in a small town in 1999, business owner, Pia Friend, decided that she was tired of working for someone else so she dreamed of opening up her own boutique brokerage, which she did! Fast forward where she recruited Michelle Gerety while she was helping her family find a home back in 2016, soon after Michelle became licensed and began working for Pia Friend Realty. From there, Michelle and Pia worked side-by-side until 2020 when Pia sold the business to Michelle so that she could start thinking about retirement.
Michelle Gerety purchased Pia Friend Realty during the pandemic (2020) and 1 day prior to her 30th birthday (her goal was to own a business by age 30), which was scary at first, but was probably the best business to purchase at that time. When other businesses were in a state of uncertainty, real estate was booming. Michelle took the business that Pia built and grew it, doubling the production numbers and adding new agents to their business model. The company has been growing ever since and helping hundreds of people and families along the way.
