Today, we were honored to snag one of the first blank Parade of Hearts hearts to leave the warehouse. I have my work cut out for me now that we’re assessing the realities of building the design I dreamed up months ago. I’m not quite ready to show it off yet – but let’s just say the challenge has been accepted. This is going to get interesting fast.
Meeting the blank hearts face-to-face had me feeling a bit starstruck. These beauties are larger than life. Suddenly, I’m looking at them from a whole new perspective and the fear factor is a bit gut-wrenching.
I’m not a mission, though, to document the process as clearly as I can. I am so excited for this journey. I’m excited for what this project could do to support local women-owned businesses. I hope you enjoy following along and seeing behind-the-scenes of how the heart gets made!
